Unity imports video files using Apple QuickTime. On Windows, you need to install Quicktime to import a video file. Download Quicktime from Apple Support Downloads. Unity supports the same file types as your QuickTime installation (usually .mov, .mpg, .mpeg, .mp4, .avi, .asf).
Unity iOS supports any movie file types that play correctly on an iOS device, implying files with the extensions .mov, .mp4, .mpv, and .3gp and using one of the following compression standards:
Online Converter works as a free HEVC to MP4/AVI converter online. It supports HEVC videos in .mov, .hevc, .mp4, .mkv, .ts, .h265, .265. Simply upload the HEVC video and click Convert, it will convert the HEVC video into MP4 or AVI online. You can't convert HEVC into other formats like MOV, MKV, WMV, FLV, WebM, etc. There are two simple options available to let you cut the video and resize the aspect ratio, without a preview window though. Max file size of 200 MB is allowed to be uploaded.
I have a Python 3 code that is supposed to record video. Unfortunately, I do not ant it in .h264, I need it to convert to .mp4. I thought the easiest way to do this would have been to use subprocess.Popen to insert MP4Box -add filename.h264 filename.mp4 into the terminal and have it do it for me automatically. Unfortunately, the Python script doesn't do anything and I don't get any error messages, so I don't know what's going wrong. The rest of the script works like a charm.
